MAY 17, 1978 [CRRACE B TERRACE BAY POLICE DEPARTMENT During the past week, members of the Terrace Bay Police Force were called upon to investigate the following occurrences: One break, enter and theft is being investigated at Cameron's Texaco. Entry was gained by pushing out a panel in the main garage doors and a small quantity of merchandise was stolen. One report of being unlawfully in a dwelling house has been reported. A local resident was awakened when he heard someone rummaging around in-his home. The culprit was frightened off and has not been apprehended -at this time. Police are also investigating a theft of a quantity of under clothing from the clothes line of a local resident. One charge of speeding was laid, two drivers were charged with no insurance, one driver was charged with no licence plate on a motorcycle and one passender was charged with failing to wear a helmet on a motorcycle. ld National Police Week has been declared from May 14th to 20th and this year's slogan is "Working Together to Prevent Crimes", EE i I I UL HOSPITAL NOTES: UP-DATE: : A reminder that Wednesday, June 14, 1978 is the Annual Meet- ing of the McCausland Hospital Corporation.
