NORTH SHORE BADMINTON TOURNAMENT: On the weekend of April 15, 1978 a local tournament for Grades 7 and 8 students was held to determine who would tra- vel to Red Rock for the North Shore Tournament on Saturday, May 6, 1978. Winners locally were: Boys doubles - Robert Speziale and M. Costa, Ron Speziale and N, 0'Connor; Girls doubles - Cheryl Smith and Sandy Nesbitt, Marlene Speziale and Jeanine St. Jean. Boys singles - Mitch McLaughlin and Robert Imbeault, Girls Singles - Susan Smith and Lizzy Hartmann, Each community is allowed two entries per event so the consolution side winner advances. CHINESE COOKING: Those not registered to date please come to the Recrea- tion Office as soon as possible. If you are unable to attend please notify us as we have others wishing to enroll.
