The fees are $12.00 'per person having equip -ment, $20.00 for those requiring skis, boots, poles. For rental of equipment you must sup- ply your height, weight, shoe size. The program starts 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 10, 1978 in the Schreiber Town Office lower hall. Weaving - Feb. 27, 28, Mar. 1, 2, 3, 1978 is the week that weaving has been tentatively booked; it will be held Monday to Friday in- clusive from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. If there is suf -ficient interest this program will proceed, please register by Monday, Feb. 20, 1978. Basic Cake Decorating - will take place in Schreiber on Feb. 17, 18, 19, 1978. Please register at the Schreiber Parks and Recreation Office. The program will be held in the lower hall of the Town Office. Chinese cook- ing will be held sometime in March, 1978. ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CURLING: Winners of last week events were the rinks of Cathy Campbell, Jeanine St. Jean, Marlene Speziale, Art Roen, Frank Costa, Brent Mills. Standing to Jan. 16, 1978 are: Roen, St. Jean, Speziale, tied for first, two wins - no loss- es; at a 1 & 1 reeoxd are: Campbell, Mills, Miller, Gionet, Costa & Costa; at 0 - 2 won- loss are Legacy, Moore, Blais. NEW ARENA UPDATE: On January 16, 1978 several interested people attended a meeting for the new arena fund raising. The people there will be contacting the cit -izens of Schreiber for monies to go towards the new arena. : They will have with them pledge forms for payroll deductions to have the C.P.R. employ- ees fill out, if they so-wish. At present we are in touch with Kimberly- Clark to see if a similar payroll deduction system can be set 'up. for employees from Schreiber. Irene Borutski and Marlene Doig will look after a Poster Contest for the elementary school students. These will be put up aroung town after judging has been done. - "A large thermometer should soon appear at the Town Office for all to see the progress of the fund raising.
