REMEMBRANCE DAY SERVICES AT LAKE SUPERIOR PUBLIC SCHOOL On the morning of 1977 11 10, both campuses held Remembrance Day Services in the gymnasium. On the Schreiber Campus, the program was opened with the singing of O Canada followed by a prayer from Rev. Dye. Mrs. G. Davis, President of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 109, gave a talk on the meaning of the poppy. This was followed with Selected readings by Judy McBride, Karen Madge and Kristen Glad, students of grades 7 and 8. The students then joined Mrs. J. Cooper in the singing of "Blowing in the Wind" followed by the Last Post and a minute of silence. Each grade presented a wreath in memory of those who made the supreme sacrifice for us and the * service concluded with the singing of "We Shall P| fo Overcome". On the Terrace Bay Campus, J. Dinnen lead PUBLIC MEETING FOR PERSONS INTERESTED | IN CRAFTS WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 23RD 7:00 P.M. ST. MARTIN'S SEPARATE SCHOOL LIBRARY - TERRACE BAY At the meeting on Nov. 8th those people present decided to form a craft club for the Terrace Bay, Schreiber, Rossport area. People involved in or interested in-all crafts are welcomed to attend. A film on crafts will be shown. .
