PAGE © TERRACE BAY NEWS LOCAL ASSOCIATION TO GUIDES AND BROWNIES MEET The September meeting of the Local Associa- tion to Guides and Brownies was held with six members present. The meeting was chaired by Mrs. Saranpaa. Guide meetings are already started and are held on Tuesday's at 6:15 p.m. in the Scout Hall. Brownie Registration night will be held in the near future. Date will be announced later. -A parent must attend to register any Brownie whether she has previously attended or is a new recruit. We are fortunate to have volunteer leaders for Guides and Brownies. An assistant to Mrs. Geldreich for the Ranger-Cadet Company would be very welcome. This is to help with a small group of girls age 14 - 17. Please contact Mrs. Saranpaa if you are interested. Anyone having Guide or Brownie Uniforms to sell or anyone wishing tc purchase a uniform please phone Mrs. Ingrid Fournier between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. - 825-3818. A variety of wrapped goodies will be sold door to door by the Guides late in September or early October. Support local Guiding by . buying from the girls. : Guide calendars will be available shortly. A handy gift or stocking stuffer. Four Tuiders will be attending the Area Annual Meeting in Dryden and Mrs. Geldreich will be attending a Ranger session at Doe Lake. Camps were held for both Brownie Packs in early summer. Three Guides attended a week- long joint camp with Marathon and Manitouwadge Guides at Three Finger Lake. A Ranger-Guide camp was held at Polly Lake in August. The October meeting will be the Annual Meeting and all mothers are urged to attend. "Date to be announced later.
