The Executive was reminded that Prevention is our main theme this year. : Plans for the Fall Fair to be held in Sept -ember and the Harvest Tea in October were fin -alized. Reports were received from the Representa- tive in the Working Group and the Advisory Board. Information from the Ministry of Community and Social Services and the O.A.M.R. were dis- cussed and acted on. gr The President Mrs. A. LeBlanc thanked all 'those who worked on-the Flower of Hope Cam--- paign and the meeting was adjourned. The next meeting will be held in September. 3 LA LECHE LEAGUE OF TERRACE BAY The La Leche League leader of Terrace Bay, Mrs. Nicole Mockler, will be a delegate to the organization's Sixth International Conference which will take place at The Sheraton Centre Hotel in Toronto, July 14 - 16, 1977. The Conference provides an opportunity for parents, doctors and nurses associated with the League to share information so that they can continue to help mothers who turn to them. "Breastfeeding : Genesis of a Lifestyle" is the theme of this Conference. The increasing trend back to the natural way of life, speci- fically in infant feeding, is evidenced by the fact that over 2500 mothers and 1000 babies are expected to attend. Guest speakers will include prominent physicians, psychologists, psychiatrists and parents discussing breast- feeding as it relates to the baby's physical and emotional well-being. Cont'd pg. 5 ...
