RINGETTE SKATE-A-THON | SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 27th On Sunday, February 27th, 1977, the Terrace Bay Ringette Association will be holding a skate-a-thon to raise funds for .their organization. You, the residents of Terrace Bay, are being asked to help us in our endeavour. What we ask is simple - just sponsor the skaters for so much per hour of skating Time. An official receipt will be issued showing the amount of time he or she skated. Base your contribution on this official receipt only. Perhaps you would -like to come to the arena and cheer the skafers on. The skate- a-thon starts at 9:00 a.m. and lasts until 9:00 p.m. Sunday, February 27th. Hot drinks and sandwiches will be available to all skaters and medical assistance will be provided. Cash prizes will be awarded to: (1) the skater who is sponsored for the most money and skates the full 12 hours; (2) the skater who is sponsored for the most money; (3) the youngest skater to skate the longest length of time. Sponsor sheets are available and may be obtained from any member of the Ringette Assocjation, the Recreation Ott128 or from any of the local schools.
