PAGE 6 TERRACE BAY NEWS JANUARY 12, 1977 TERRACE BAY POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT The Terrace Bay Police Department was called to investigate twenty-two occurrences during the period January 1 to January 9, 1977| On January 4, Police were called upon to attend at the arena during the Nip Rock = Schreiber Junior hockey game. Several fans had been involved in fights during the game and were evicted. As a result the hokey game was called with four minutes remaining. One motorist was charged with not having a valid licence plate on his vehicle. Two snowmobile operators were checked and cautioned about operation of their vehicles. One accident was investigated resulting in damage of approximately $800.00. One motorist was charged with afford reasonable opportunity to collision. Two persons were charged with having liquor readily available in their vehicles. One motorist was charged with not having insurance for his vehicle. One motorist was charged with failing to register his motor vehicle. One snowmobile operator was charged with the careless operation of his motorized : snow vehicle.
