If you are in a position to assist this year, you can inform us one of two ways: (a) fill out the appropriate section of the Minor Ball regis] --~tration form, or (b) call the Recreation Of- fice directly. It is extremely important to point out that without adequate volunteer help, a Minor Ball brogramme cannot be offered. Remember that it is only for six weeks. TENNIS COURTS: The tennis courts will hopefully be avail- able for play in the near future as soon as a number of necessary maintenance items are com- pleted. Once the nets have been installed, the tennis courts will be open to the Public. "The Recreation Office is pleased to announce that a tennis clinic will be held in Terrace Bay on May 29th and 30th, involving a tennis Pro. Future issues of the Terrace Bay News will pro- vide you with information as to how to register for the tennis clinic. The Recreation Office has recently deter- mined that there is a number of local people interested in forming a Terrace Bay Tennis Club. ' At this point in time, the Recreation Office would be pleased to accept names of peo- ple who would like to see such a club formed and perhaps the Recreation Office could sche- dule a public meeting to discuss the formation of a club. In the meantime, please give us a call to leave your name and phone number. SPORTS TRAVELCADE IN TERRACE BAY MAY 29th-30th Between now and May 29th, you will be read- ing a great deal about a Sports Travelcade. This is a unique project which was started by the Ministry of Culture and Recreation for this current year and will be travelling through numerous communities in Ontario. We urge you to read the information when it is published in the News and to avail yourselves of the re- sources of this Travelcade. More about the Travelcade in the next few weeks. : Of interest to local golfers is that the Sports Travelcade will be providing a golf pro for four days. The Aguasabon Golf Club will be announcing details on the golf clinic, which will be held from May 29th to June lst. : ARE YOU INTERESTED IN BRIDGE LESSONS?
