COURT NEWS: 'Judge Sargent presided over the sitting of Provincial Court on October 30, 1975. Philip Meister pleaded guilty to impaired driving and was fined $175.00 and his lic- ense suspended for three months. Joseph Hale pleaded guilty to causing dam- age to a local store window. He was fined $50.00 and ordered to pay restitution. Richard Hamilton pleaded not guilty to im- paired driving and was represented by Mr. P., Dube. After a lenghthy trial Hamilton was found guilty and fined $150.00 with his lic- ense being suspended. David Helmink pleaded not guilty to care and control of a motor vehicle while impaired. He represented himself and was found guilty. He was fined $125.00 and his license was sus- pended. WELCOME : Miss Penny Possamai from Sault Ste Marie. She is now with the Lake Superior Public Sch- ool and resides at 188 Laurier Avenue. Pauline and Raymond Desgrosiellers and their 3 children, Nicole, Francine and Claude. They are from Moonbeam and now reside at 127 Poplar Crescent. Ray works for Kimberly Clark in the Woodlands Division. Geraldine and Fred McColeman and daughters, Kerri and Kimberly from Schreiber. On their way the Ger- lach's also visited their oldest son Jim who is in his last year of training in Nuclear Me- dicine 'at Plummer Memorial Hospital in Sault.
