Hospital Quotes - continued advised that the Board would not charge an outrageous rental fee to make a profit. The Finance Committee reported that as soon as the Administrator was through with working on the budget a meeting would be called. The Property Committee advised that the FM cable had been installed in the new doctors waiting room, fences for staff plug ins had been ins- talled and the panic hardware for the fire ex- it door in the Annex was installed. The Fund Raising Committee turned in a detailed report. They also plan to recanvass those persons that had asked them to come back in the fall. The Administrator reported to the Board re the Service Employee's Union and advised which hospitals in the area were going to negotiate money matters on a central basis and local ma- tters locally. The Board advised the Administrator to set up a meeting with Mr. M. Stockwell, Ambulance Services Department, Mrs. Helmink of District Council #12, the Executive, Director of Nurs- ing and Mr. J. King who now operates the amb- ulance from Schreiber, in order to talk about our Ambulance Service in our area and what we can count on. The Township of Terrace Bay had answered our letter re the run off of water into the proposed new hospital site and Mr. Wills stat- ed that an official plan of survey is needed before we pursue this matter any further. The Administrator gave statistical reports for the month of August, 1975. He reported on his Small Hospital Conference held in Wat- erloo, Ontario and the Public Relations Conf- erence held in Toronto. The President had asked Dr. A.B. Adey if the Credentials Committee had met with Dr. Spacek as yet and Dr. Adey reported they had not. He also reported since there are 5 doc- tors between the 2 towns now we should have our own Credentials Committee. The President reported we should write our present Credent- decisions. Aifii Anderson will be in charge of In Mem- orium cards for Terrace Bay. The Board of Governors of the McCausland most recent donations: Personal - $1144.50. Total amount in the building fund at the pre- sent time is $55,388.64.
