All applicants under the age of twenty (20) years must first complete a course in Hunter Safety Training from a qualified instructor before being allowed to write the examination An appointment must be made at one of the above-mentioned offices and the examin- ation fee paid in advance of any examination date. An examination will not be held if there are no appointments made for any of the dates noted above. An examiner will be in attendance on the dates shown below for Marathon and no appointment need be made. Marathon September 5 Marathon September 18 L.L. Haas District Manager. High School High School > TERRACE BAY RECREATION DEPARTMENT WEEKLY REPORT TENNIS TOURNAMENT : Dependent on the number of registrations, two tennis tournaments have been planned for the weekend of August 23rd and 24th. The set- up will be as follows: I5 years of age and un- der, with the second tournament for I6 years and over. Fees would be as follows: for both tournaments, $3.00 for non-Recreation members and $I.50 for Recreation members. Cash prizes will be awarded fox first and second place, the amounts being determined by the number of reg- istrations received. If you wish to enter either of these tourn-. aments, register with the Recreation Office before Thursday, August 2Ist. Registration forms are available and entry fee must accom- pany the completed registration form. MINOR BALL: Games have been tentatively scheduled for. three leagues, which are as follows: Senior Girls, National League Boys and an all-star team from the American League. These games will be played starting August IIth, with the first game being played in Manitouwadge. Games that will be played at home are planned for Tuesday, August I2th, Monday, August I8th and Thursday, August 2Ist. Out cf town games continued page 8
