On July 9th an attempt was made to set fire to the Police Station. Little damage was caused. Also on this date a Nipigon woman visiting Terrace Bay complained of being raped. Inves-, tigations are being conducted. July 9th also saw a hit and run accident occur on Lakeview Drive where a fire hydrant was broken. The driver has been interviewed. Two complaints of wilful damage and one break, enter and theft are under investigation. Six charges under the Highway Traffic Act and seven motor vehicles were safety checked with six warnings issued. f 4 7 On July IOth Provincial Court was held with, Judge R. Clarke presiding. .
