May you all have a very enjoyable and success- ful season in our club. With a little co-operation from our weather- man we hope to carry off Jeannette's well lin- ed up schedule without too much interference. Please remember girls our twilights are held every Tuesday night. We would like you there by 5:45 as we start promptly at 6 P.M. Being a bit early gives our chairman a chance to line up the flights. If unable to make it by 5:45 just phone the club and advise them that you will be there by starting time. The draw for match play has been posted as of June I0th with a three week span to com- plete the eighteen holes in each division. The ringer board is also posted and runs for the season so get your best scores, per hole in the score box girls. NEELY : Mr. Wilbert Calvin Neely aged 53 years of 431 Fort Garry Road, Terrace Bay, died at home Saturday, May 24th after a long illness. Born in South River, Ontario, married to Elizabeth Murdoch, December I7th, I948. Came to Terrace Bay in I953 to work for Kimberly Clark. He was a member of the Community Church and Branch #223 Royal Canadian Legion. He is survived by wife, Elizabeth (Beth), sons, Blake of Victoria, B.C. and Blaine at home, daughter Candice (White) of Ottawa. Brothers and sisters - Clifford, Arthur, Walter South River, Robert, Orila, Stanley, Elmira, Ont., Viola (Mrs. H. Ralston), North Bay, Muriel (Mrs. E. Longhurst) of Brace Bridge. Predeceased by his mother and father, Jacob and Letish Neely and a brother Garfield and a sister Vera Neely. Funeral services were held at the Community Church with Rev. Peter McKague officiating. _ Music by Ellen Hodgkiss. Choice of hymns were Wilbert and Beth's "Nearer My God to Thee" and "Onward Christian Soldiers". Prior to the Funeral the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #223 held a Legion Service at the King Funeral Home, Schreiber. 3 Pall bearers were Jim Beddard, Forbes Cruickshank, Wilf Corrigan, Clarence Mercier, AQ John Falzetta and Alphonse Theriault. Honour- ary Pall Bearers were Lorne McBride, Nick Chopty, Joe Desaulniers, Murray Dorman, Ted McInnes, Garnet Pinkerton, Nick Rennette and Tom Pelto.
