Eighteen rinks entered. Following the event a dinner was served in the club. : Among the special prizes were to Kay Gell- ert's Hard-Luck team Wendy Martin, Helen Le- Blanc and Irma Armstrong - Irma receiving an extra one for most failures to pass the hog line; by sheer luck, Muriel Nesbitt, of Thun- der Bay, drew her own name from a hat for a special prize for skips. ; Donna Josus rink, S. Dorman, T. Northest, B. Wise, won a seven ender, a Chinese dinner, - at the Restaurant LeBlanc was won by the Lake- head University rink - J. Koening, S. Forbes, L. Fraser and B.E. Weaver.
