Members were in favour of having a birthday party on March Ist as we will be celebrating our I9%h birthday. More on this subject to be discussed at our next meeting. Following adjournment Santa Claus drapped in and distributed gifts to all members. A very lovely lunch was served by Alma McDonald, Nacy Marquis, Anne Stachiw and Dorothy Kenny. Denis in the Thunder LEGION EXECUTIVE For 1975 On December I3th, I974 the Royal Canadian Legion held their installation of officers for I975, for the Men's Branch and the Ladies Aux- iliary. D. Gunter was the Installing Officer. Members are reminded that the Men's regular meetings are the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m... The first meeting for I975 is a very important one and all members are urged to attend. It will be on Tuesday, January I4th at 7:30'p.m. Coming events are the Legion Zone curling to be held in Terrace Bay on January I8th. Also is a big annual event for the local Bran- ch on February 22nd, when the mixed curling Bonspiel will be held. Marilyn and Larry Westlake (nee Benko) of Burlington, Ontario spent the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. John Benko of Terrace Bay. Karin Lundberg of Toronto spent the holidays with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Sax Lundberg.
