LETTER TO THE EDITOR SNOW MACHINE OPERATORS, WHAT IS GOING ON? Last winter there was a great deal of controversy over the use of snow machines on the streets of this town. The Town Council then decided to ban their use on the streets completely. A group of concerned and responsible snow machine owners and operators met and brought to the attention of Coun- cil that if the existing traffic and snow machine laws already then in existance were simply enforced there would be no problem. The council then replied that it was virtually imposs- ible to enforce existing laws. After a lengthly discussion, a compromise was proposed. Restrictions would be placed on the use of snow machines. cont'd 'on'page 11..
