Lecturers for this seminar are recognized authorities from the academic, public, private and government sectors as well as union circles. They will review the current economic situation, technological changes, manpower planning and the practical operational aspects of labour relations and other industry-related areas of management. LEGION BOWLING The Bombardiers bowled well on the final night of league bowling to finish first in the standings; winning the Legion Championship 71/72. The roll-offs were held Friday night. The Bomb- ardiers did it again taking the Championship Roll- Off! Congratulations on some excellent bowling and a very successful season. The consolation roll-off was won by the Irish Regiment who also bowled very well; rolling the high score of the night. Our sincere thank to the official scorekeepers Pam Jones, Freda Knight, Bruce McBride and Bill Pytyck for a job well done. W.O.T.M. HOLD ENROLLMENT Senior Regent Anne Stachiw presided at the meeting of the Women of the Moose Chapter 1426 which was held May 3rd with Academy of Friendship chairman Kay Furyk and her committee of Alice Yates and Myra Smilsky being in charge of Chapter Night programme . Minutes of the previous meeting and executive meeting were adopted as read and financial state- ment was given. Correspondence was also read. Enroliment took place welcoming Mary Innatko and Josefa Hirt into the defending circle. Donation to the Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal was approved. Bursaries to be presented to a deser- ving student at both the Schreiber Campus and Terrace Bay Campus were discussed. The annual windup supper with installation and social to follow will be held on June 21st with the Loyal Order of Moose catering for the supper. Election of Officers will take place at the next meeting to be held May 17th. All members are asked to attend this meeting. Following adjournment a lovely lunch was served by the Academy of Friendship committee. Games were played and a raffle was held with winners of prizes being = Anne Stachiw, Lorraine Prill and Doreen Kurylo. Twenty nine out of thirty mentally retarded child- ren can be helped to grow into useful, happy mem- bers of the community with a considerable degree of self-sufficiency.
