But now, because of automatic electric dishwashers, more and more people are finding out it's an unnecessary evil. Consider some of the things an automatic electric dishwasher can save wives from. Things like: the dreary routine of washing and drying pots and dishes day after day; the worry of dishpan hands, the after-party aftermath; and the hours spent doing dishes that could be spent in a hundred happier ways. The wifes your hydro TENATIVE WINTER CARNIVAL - cont'd from page been planned by any other community group or organization, BE SURE TO NOTIFY THE RECRE- ATION OFFICE IMMEDIATELY, The next meeting of the Winter Carnival Com- mittee will be held on Monday, November 8th, at 7:30 p.m. in the large meeting room of the Recreation Centre. Any or all community groups who wish to participate in the Winter Carnival either plan to attend the meeting on Monday, November 8th, or call the Recreation Office and advise us of your interest. Once the dates for a Winter Carnival HAVE BEEN CONFIRMED, the Winter Carnival Com- mittee will then proceed with arrangements to involve as many community groups and organiza- tions as possible to schedule events for the Carniva Let's all get behind this community event. SELF-IMPROVEMENT COURSE As a result of numerous attempts made by the Recreation Office in the last three weeks to secure an instructor for the Self-Improvement Course, the Recreation Office is pleased to ann- ounce that the services of an instructor have been obtained. However, since it took close to three weeks to obtain an instructor, and we are now in the month of November, the Self-Improvement Course will have to be postponed until early 1972. Sorry for the inconvenience; however, there was no other alternative as many unforeseen problems arose in connection with this course. The Recreation Office will be retaining the orig- inal registration list, and based on the amount of people that will be limited to taking this course, re=- gistrants will be notified accordingly. If you have any questions regarding the Self-Im- provement Course, please do not hesitate to call the Recreation Office. PROGRAMME REMINDERS Ceramics Course - The Recreation Office will be accepting registrations for this course for anyone High School age and up until this Friday, November 5th, at 5:00 p.m. Details regarding this course will appear in next week's News. Junior Basketball = Next session for the Junior Basketball programme will be held this Saturday November 6th at 10:00 a.m. in the High School
