My introduction to the Kin-Hi Course of '71 comm=~ enced August 16th at the Quetico Centre. Our training began with a 4.9 mile walk to "Wannegan L Lake". We remained in that vicinity for eight hours before returning to the Centre. After the first day we were divided into teams for various assignments. No leader was designated for the teams. The re xt four days consisted of lectures on Crisis Response, leadership styles and other topics. We assessed other teams' leadership ies as well as our own individual styles. The last week proved to be a test of our own lead- ership. We were permitted to do what we wanted to. Boys at the camp were also lectured on new innova- tions in school education. A visit from 65 CGIT Seniors from Winnipeg initiated a new schedule to include them. cont'd page 16.........
