GIRLS' FASTBALL A return invitation was extended by the Terrace Bay Girls' Fastball Team to the Schreiber Girls' team to take part in a game held on Friday at St. Martin's ballfield. The Schreiber team defeat- ed the Terrace Bay team, which now gives each town one win. Further games, if arranged, will be announced in the News. COMING EVENTS Saturday, September 18th - White Elephant and Rummage Sale, Royal Canadian Legion of Terrace Bay - Legion Hall. KUSIK-STUART VOWS EXCHANGED St. Martin 'of Tours Church was the scene of an August wedding, when Cecile Stuart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P.J. Stuart, of Terrace Bay and Larry Kusik, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stan Kusik, of Schreiber, were united in marriage, at 11:30 a.m. on August 28, 1971. Father A. Greengrass officiated. Miss Cathy Melnyk was organist, and the groom's sister, Mrs. Crystal Gordon was the soloist. Cecile, given in marriage by her father, was gowned in white satin, full length, falling into a slight train at the back. The dress featured a Peter Pan collar, Empire waist tine, long full Chiffon sleeves with white satin cuffs. The collar, cuffs, and waist line were trimmed with fine white ruching and ruching formed two streamers falling from the waist line. She carried a bouquet of red roses. A tiara held the four tier bouffant viel, shoulder length. Miss Laureen Kusik, the groom's sister, wore a long pink Polyester crepe gown, with pink chiffon sleeves, trimmed with embroidered ribbon and matching flowers in her hair. She carried a nosegay of Shasta Daisies. Brian Mohoney was best man, Ronnie and Henry Stuart were ushers. For a reception held at the bride' s home, Mrs. Stuart received wearing a three piece gold, yellow and white suit, white accessories and a mauve orchid corsage. Mrs. Kusik wore a blue Fortrel afternoon dress, white accessories and a white orchid corsage. Brian Mohoney, proposed the toast to the bride, during the cold plate buffet luncheon. For a going away outfit, Cecile wore a three piece pink and white suit, and white accessories.
