Shushak of Thunder Bay was the big winner of the Open Tournament held Saturday and Sunday, August 28 and 29th. After thirty-six holes Shushak and D. Tomlak were tied af 151. On the first hole, to break the tie, Shushak came up with a par and Tomlak, who had a bit of rough luck, had a bogie. Other winners were "A" Event - Low Gross =D. Tomlak, Low Net = A. Slyvinski, Runner-up - B. Bradley. "B" Event - Low Gross - T. Desaulniers, Low Net - J. Luke, Runner-up = F. Young. "C" Event - Low Gross = J. Sinclair, Low Net - C. Buck, Runner-up = C. Sodergren. Low Net Ist 18 holes - J. Kolotylo, Low Net, 2nd 18 holes - G. Seagris. 4 Special prize went to B. Stevens, Red Rock, who made a beautiful drive on No. 5 tee striking our periscope putting it out of commission.
