Congratulations should certainly go to the Terrace Bay Legion, Legion Ladies Auxiliary, the Terrace Bay Recreation Committee and Town Council for planning all the activities and making the day possible. In addition, many thanks to the numerous volunteers who in some way or another assisted in carrying out the programme. Since community reaction to this year's July Ist celebration was so favourable, it is hoped that next year's celebrations will be broadened to include more activities by involving more organizations in the planning.
