The wedding took place at 4 p.m,, Saturday, June 12th. Rosemary is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Long of Ter- rece Bay and Raymond is the son of Mr, and Mrs, Peter Cain of Kirkland Lake, The alter was adorned with gladioli and Sister Marian was the organist. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a tradi- tional long white gown in Fortrel Crepe, featuring a V nack- line, Empire waist and short puffed sleeves. The neckline, waist and sleeves were accented by rows of lace threaded with yellow satin ribbons. A full train fell softly from the waist. She wore a shoulder length bouffant veil of Illusion net and carried a bouquet of yellow roses, white mums and Shasta dai- sles. The bridesmaid, Miss Diane Singleton of Schreiber, wore a long jumper in shocking pink, with a paler pink blouse with long full sleeves, Her head dress was e pink straw floppy brim hat and she carried a bouquet of pink carnations. John laroque was Best Man and the ushers were the bride's two brothers, Thomas and Robert Long. For the reception dinner held in the Church Hall, end later at the home of the bride's parents, Mrs. Long chose a matching dress and coat in Aqua patterned Crimplene, sleeve- less sheath with the coat featuring half belt and covered buttons, and she wore a corsage of pink carnations. Mrs.Cain also received, wearing a Rose Fortrel dress, matching socces- sories and a corsage of white carnations, 3 Ron Dekin proposed the toast to the bride.
