PAGE 14 TERRACE BAY NEWS DRESS-UP, DRESS-DOWN DAY AT T.B.H.S. June 8th was another special day at Terrace Bay High School. "Wear-What-You-Want" said the posters, so the students came to school in various outfits = hot pants, shorts, jeans and pant suits. Two periods at noon were cancelled for a hot dog and coke lunch sponsored by the teachers and Students' Council. Mr. Rowsome was head chef at the huge barbeque and all the students agree that he sure cooks delicious hot dogs! The grand finale of the day was a baseball game between the Students' Council and the teachers. The Students' Council was victorious after an excit- ing and rather hilarious game of three innings. Be- tween innings the boys from the Occupational class held a raffle for several pieces of lawn furniture they made themselves. This last venture by the Students' Council and the teachers to promote school spirit proved to be very successful and was enjoyed by students and staff alike. - Cathy Melnyk. - continued page 17 ......
