It is hoped that the final financial obli- gations for the yearbook can be met with a bake sale on Saturday, June 5th, from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in Chapples Store. All Schreiber High School students have been asked to donate baking, and you, the reader, are invited to support your high school's annual yearbook by buying the articles on Saturday. 1970-71 OUTSTANDING YEAR Schreiber High School teams have won an excep- tional number of Athletic trophies in interschool competitions during the current school year. The trophies shown in the photos are proudly displayed in the showcase at the school . The following is a summary of wins: = Badminton - Schreiber Team won the NSSSA A trophy. Clover Dukes and Craig Fischer, won mixed doubles event in the NWOSSA competition in Dryden. Coach was Mr. Durham. Basketball - The boys basketball team won four trophies, as follows: = Sir John A. McDonald; Western Division; Central Division and N.S.S5.S.A.A. - Coach, Mr. Wilde. Cross Country - Boys team were the N.S5.5.5.A.A. Champions and runners up at the N.W.O.5.5.A. Tournament in Thunder Bay. Coach, Mr. Wilde. - Girls team were the N.S5.5.5.A.A. champions and winners at the N.W.O.5.5.A. Tournament in Thunder Bay. Coach, Mr. Wilde. Gymnastics = Boys and Girls teams are the N.S.5.S. A.A. champions. Coaches, Mrs. Stewart and Mr. Wilde. Volleyball- Boys Volleyball team were winners of the Western Division = Coach Mr. Klassen.
