Following a lengthy and lively discussion the Board agreed fo the implementation of a Family Planning Program at the clinic facilities in Thunder Bay. It is hoped the clinic will begin in September 1971 and will be available to all those in the Thun- der Bay District Health Unit area. ; J.K. Cooke, vice chairman and chairman of fin- ance, presented certain correspondence between the Board and the Province relating to funding during the current year. Despite severe curtailments in various departments the budget proposed will be for all prac- tical purpose unaffected. The 1970 annual report presented by the Medical Director was favorably received by the entire Board . At a previous time Myrtle McBride was given her warrant as a Tawny Owl in Brownies.
