TOWN TOPICS CHICKEN DINNER A SUCCESS Under the leadership of Dan Rafalant and Bill Kurylo, the men of the Community Church held a very successful Chicken Dinner in the Church hall on April 21st. Thor Olsen and Clarence Buck were in charge of the servitors, John Knight, Dr. McCausland and John Ferrier poured tea and coffee, Don Laporte and Tom Pollard headed up the dish washing detail, but it was the enthusiasm of the whole crew of men who turned out tg help which made it such a success. Hopefully it will be repeated again in the fall. Dinner Treasurer, Axel Berndtsson, turned the cheque over to Chairman Vanderkam. ~ Photo = next column .....
