C. for a banquet tendered for the Schreiber North Stars, who won the North Shore junior trophy, ending up in first place. : The meal was provided by mothers, wives and girl friends of the players and served in the Legion. Reeve F.V. Harness presented individual trophies from the town to the players. Farewell gifts, for their work with the team, were presented to Freddie McColeman, three years the coach; and Ken McNally two years as trainer!
