RECREATION CONFERENCE The Zone A, Ontario Municipal Recreation Asso- ciation Spring Conference was held in Schreiber on April 16-17. : This association is Composed of lay people who are extremely concerned with the development of recreation, af both the local and area level. The Rev. E.C. Prinselaar, of Schreiber, chaired the meeting. Bill Malcolm, president of the Schreiber committee welcomed the delegates and others attending and Reeve F.V. Harness gave the good wishes of the municipality. E.J. Morgan, director of the Lake Superior Board of Education, gave an'address ~ Education and Recreation = Policy and use of facilities. Donna Crocker, superintendant of Recreation, Thunder Bay, spoke on "Changing Youth Values." Other matters on the agenda were the role and function of the recreation committee, communica- tions media = community T.V., V.T.R., its use and application; Regional Government - an appraisal evaluations and recommendations to the Fall Zone meeting. Small group discussions followed gach point on the agenda, their feelings later presented to the entire group, for larger consideration.
