= - JANUARY 21, 1971 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 19 pa 1 WEEKLY REPORT FROM THE SCHREIBER DETACHMENT THE ONTARIO PROVINCIAL POLICE On January 10, 1971, Richard Pokorny, Schreiber reported the loss of partially-grown Samoyed dog. The animal is white in colour and has dye markings on its stomach. If anyone has any knowledge of the whereabouts of the animal would they kindly advise either this office of the owner. On January 15, 1971 a wanted person was apprehended in Schreiber for the Metro Toronto Police Dept. The subject wag returned to Toronto to stand Trial. On the traffic scene there were two minor collisions totalling $590.00 in demage. On January 10, Constable C.R. Duffy investigated a one car collision east of Steel River. Ian Marsh Titley of Ottawa, lost control of his vehicle and struck a guide post causing $500.00 damage to his vehicle. On January 14, Glenn Smith of Hamilton, lost control of his vehicle at the Prairie River Bridge causing $90.00 damage to his vehicle. This collision wes investigated by Constable D.B. Anderson. MOTORISTS! . Here's a winter driving reminder. It's required by law to have clean driving visability - front, sides and rear whenever the vehicle is in operation.
