DECEMBER 21, 1970 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 21 from The EXECUTIVE and MEMBERS LOGAL 665 INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD PULP SULPHITE & PAPER MILL WORKERS TERRACE BAY FIRE FILM INTERESTS MEMBERS The regular meeting of the Schreiber Elementary Home and School Association was held on Thursday, December 3rd, 1970 at 8 p.m. This was preceded by a good turnout of parents for parent-teacher interview from 7 to 8 p.m. to discuss students' report cards which had been issued on November 30th. The meeting was called to order by the President, Mrs. G. Fischer, and called on the programme chairman, Rev. Prinselaar to introduce the evening Suse: . Gino Caccamo and Mrs. Mike Cosgroved a a film on behalf of the Schreiber Voluntary Fire Department depicting a drastic fire in a Chicago School . Following the film a very interesting and informa- tive discussion was held based on the film and many pertinent facts regarding the fire brigade, protection in our town, voluntary surveys of private homes on request, public building requirements, etc. were discussed. A general vote of thanks was extended to Gino and Mike for the interesting discussion. The minutes of the previous meeting as read by the secretary, Mrs. H. Jartus, were adopted as read. Mr. Bob Grant presented the treasurer's report. The Open House at the School on November 17th had been very successful and everyone present had enjoyed Aint ti and hearing Mrs. Margaret Averill. The meeting in Rossport was shelved until the' New Year. Memberships are still available from Mrs. Norma Fummerton. The next regular meeting will be on Thursday, January 7th, 1971 at 8 p.m. with parent-teacher interviews from 7:30 to 8 p.m. An informal coffee hour with Mrs. in charged followed.
