Coffee and donuts were served by the Chamber of Commerce . 3:00 PM. = Bantams 4:30 P.M. - Midgets These players deserve your support ~- don't let : them down! 4 | AFTERNOON PROGRAMME FOR OLDER CITIZENS POLICY FOR SNOWMOBILES ON COMPANY ROADS It is the policy of the Company to consider snow= mobiles in the same category as automobiles, trucks, and other motor vehicles; that is, if the driver is sixteen years or older and has the minimum public liability insurance that the law demands, then this snowmobile can be driven on mill rocds in the some manner as any other motor vehicle. Snowmobiles are not allowed in the Woodyard or any other area where motor vehicles are prohibited. The roads into these areas are posted. It is necessary that all snowmobiles abide by the same rules governing speed and safety that apply to other motor vehicles while travelling or crossing mill roads and property in that they must drive in the interest of public safety. RECREATION NEWS - by Jerry Dupas MEMBERSHIP DISCS FOR 1971 All Recreation and Swim Pool members of the Ter- race Bay Recreation Association are again reminded that NEW COLOURED DISCS WILL BE USED FOR THE MEMBERSHIP YEAR 1971. In next week's NEWS, an advertisement will ap- pear telling you how you can pick up your new discs for 1971. 'The Recreation Office will be sending billings to all members who are not employed by Kimberly- Clark at the end of December for the membership year 1971. All members of the Association employed by Kimberly-Clark will simply continue their monthly deduction if they choose to do so. TERRACE BAY HOSTS MARATHON THIS SATURDAY ! This coming Saturday, December 12th, minor hockey teams from Marathon will be playing Terrace Bay for their first encounter this year. Game times A special meeting will be held on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 15th, in the small meeting room of the : Recreation Centre at 7:00 p.m. to discuss plans for an afternoon programme involving older citizens in Terrace Bay . : The programme would operate on a casual and unorganized basis, involving such things as card playing, chess, checkers, reading, etc. If you are interested in such an opportunity, simply plan to attend the meeting. For those of you who already have indicated an interest in this programme, memos will be mailed to you reminding you of the meeting.
