Mrs. May Doriand took the Scrip- ture, ending with an inspirational poem. A letter from Armstrong Van Lines stated they would pick up parcels for the Crippled Civilians in Toronto at their earliest convenience. Mrs. Lil Harris, secre- tary, also read a letter from Pinewood Court, appea- ling to the ladies to sell tickets on a raffle. Mrs. Schritt stated she was making inquiries as to where to send the plastic pill bottles the ladies have been saving. These are to go to a Missionary to heip in the Dispensary. Mrs. Peggy Helmink, of the Association for the Mentally Retarded, hoped she will have a program ready for the February meeting. The President asked the opinion of the members about asking retired persons in Terrace Bay to join the ladies at their annual Pot Luck Luncheon, the Third Monday in January. The ladies were very en- thusiostic and agreed to provide extra food, and also arrange for transportation for those who may not ees 0. be able to walk - Continued next column over to the Church. The invitations will be sent out shortly. The secretary reminded everyone to save their used stamps, particularly .over the Christmas season. These will go to help the Leper Colony. Bandages were rolled for the Leper Colony. Mrs. Mary Husband and Mrs. Jean Fisher served lunch. TERRACE BAY CREDIT UNION HOLD MEETING The Terrace Bay Credit Union held their 22nd annual meeting in the Masonic Hall on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Roy Keller, President, was in charge of the meeting. Mr. Joe Kennedy read the minutes of the last meeting. A minutes's silence was observed in memory of those members who have passed on = Mrs. A. Mar- cella, Mr. C. Simmer, Mr. R. Linnert, Mr. L.
