See Photos on Page 12 SUCCESSFUL TEA HELD BY LADIES AUXILIARY A most successful tea was held by the Ladies Auxi- liary to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 223, on November 11th, in St. Martin's Parish Hall. Mrs. Audrey Smith and Mrs. Dorothy Koski were convenors. A well stocked bake table, staffed by Mrs. Yvonne LeClair and Mrs. Jeannette Gunter, drew the early crowds. The Bazaar table = Continued next column was looked after by Mrs. Mary Milks and Mrs. Joyce Mercier. Mrs. Marion Burns was in charge of the: Fish Pond and Mrs. Pam Jones accepted tea tickets at the door. Pourers at the lace covered table with a Remem- brance Day centrepiece, flanked by candles, were for the first hour, Mrs. Adeline Daley and Mrs. Aldea Churney, for the second hour, Mrs. Dorothy Coupal and Mrs. Atella Gusul. In charge of the kitchen arrangements were Mes- dames Marg Duriez, Dorothy Ballentine, Mary Clare Kennedy, Marge Hamilton and Dorothy Koski . Serving were Mesdames Lise Bougie, Ethel Boyd, and Paulette Coupal . A beautiful cake, baked and donated by Mrs. Ann Latour, was won by Dorothy Koski . The door prize ticket was drawn by a visitor, Mrs. V. Clark of Branch 225, Sturgeon Falls, and won by Mary Clare Kennedy. COUPLE HONOURED ON ANNIVERSARY Mr. and Mrs. Len Pineault were honoured on their 25th Wedding Anniversary at a party arranged by their friends and held at the Legion Hall on Novem- ber 11th.
