ONT AR 1.0 ¢ C A NADA TO THE PEOPLE OF THIS DISTRICT Kimberly-Clark Pulp and Paper Company Ltd. is pleased to announce that approval has been received from the Ontario Hospital Services Commission to proceed with plans to change the status of the McCausland Hospital from a private hospital to a public hospital. The transition from private to public status will be deliberately planned on a gradual basis and is expected to be complete in about two years. The present Hospital Board is being reconstituted and will include representatives from the public sector in both Terrace Bay and Schreiber. This change is being made in the best interests of the residents of Terrace Bay, Schreiber and surrounding district so that the McCausland Hospital can keep abreast of the modern developments throughout the province.
