SCHREIBER DETACHMENT OPP WEEKLY REPORT Criminal investigations during the past week were of minor nature with the exception of one episode of wilful damage at the Zenmac Metal Minesite. Approximately $300. damage was done on the week- end of September 19-20th. This matter is still under investigation. Anyone having information is re- quested to contact this office. Your assistance in helping to stop this type of Vandalism will be ap- preciated and will be treated confidentially. Three motor vehicle collisions resulted in pro- perty damage totalling $360. On Sept. 22, a vehicle driven by Assunta Speziale of Schreiber col! Jed with a parked vehicle owned by John tioriis of Schreiber. The collision took place on Onicrio Street, total damage was approximately $40. On September 25, a collision was reported necr "he United Church. Mr. Gel- lert swung out to avoid striking several pedestrians. All pedestrians are urged to use the sidewalks in Schire'ber. On Sept. 26, a collision occurred af Filane's Restaurant Parking Lot at Schreiber. A ve- hicle driven by Harold Robert Whittle of Hamilton collided with a vehicle operated by Ronald Burton of Schreiber. Total damage were approximately . $85. No charges were laid in any of these colli- sions and there were no injuries reported. This brings the yearly total thus far, to 95, an increase of just over 5% more than the same period last year.
