TERRACE BAY HOSTS NATIONAL LEAGUE FASTBALL TOURNAMENT The Recreation Department will be sponsoring a North Shore National League Fastball Tournament on Wednesday, September 2nd, at the Separate School' Ball Field. First game is scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m., and our local NATIONALS will most probably be involved in the first encounter. ROLLER SKATING CANCELLED THIS SUNDAY Since there will be a Folk Mass held this Sunday in the Arena from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m., the regular Roller Skating session will be cancelled for this week only. MARSEILLE VISITS TERRACE BAY The Terrace Bay 'Minor Hockey Association, in co-operation with Mr. Max Mekilok, District Representative of Molson's Breweries, had an honour- ed guest visit Terrace Bay on Friday, August 21st. Frank St. Marseille of the ST. LOUIS BLUES arrived mid-afternoon to sign autographs and talk informally with anyone interested at the Curling Lounge from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. That evening a Stag, sponsored by Minor Hockey, was held at the Masonic Hall, starting at 9:00 p.m. The Terrace Bay Minor Hockey Associaition would like to thank all those who actually supported Minor Hockey by attending the Stag on Friday evening.
