HOUSE, LEAGUE HOCKEY Last Monday, the initial meeting of this season's House League Hockey enthusiasts wzs held in Teen Town Clubrocoms. J. cood turnout was on hand and it was indicated that we shall have 6 or 7 teams entcred in the race this year, The main pcint of controve#=- sy centercd around the equipment problem. Two schools of though presented the pros and cons on two different ways of solving this problem. One was that all persons particpat- ing in this leaguc be assessed an equal amount to meke funds available for the pur- chase of equipment necessary to put two teams on the ice, The other was that all players taking part supply all cof their own playing equipment. Face 5 SQUARE D/NCING COURSE TO BE HELD In conjunction with the Community Programmes Branch of the Dept. of Education, the Recreation Committee are sponsoring a course on Square Dancing that will feature the teaching of fundamentals of square dancing, how to teach it and how to eall, Some time will also be given to other types of Social Recreation, Ait the time of writ- ing, it is expected that the course will extend over a period of 3 days with a three hour session to take place each evening. Emphasis will be placed on leadsrship train- ing for the purpose of leaving behind enough information and skill so that it may be passed on to cthers. Inasmuch as the enrolment will be limited to 20 persons and we now have 10 of these already registered, we can accommodate another 10 only.
