PALCEACES CHAMPS LINDEFEATED In past weeks, the "Pale Faces", soon to reap benefits from our Pension Plan and representing the various offices from Mill Superintendent to the Barber Shop), accepted the many challenges in the "Grudge Hockey League", Resulting from these meets, the games were fully replayed in the dress- ing rooms of Maintenance, Structural, #2 Shift and #, Shift as to how the veterans of ! the "Pale Faces" could have been stopped. In this League the "Pale Faces" were NEVER defeated, and in one of their wins forced the Maintenance "Lunch Pails" to surrender the famous S, H, Trophy. The No. 4 Shift, "Butler's Boys" were declared production winners giving them the embarassing right to meet the white collar "Pale Faces" in a sudden death championship for the annual Northern Wood Prcservers Trophy. In this very exciting game held last night, the teeter-totter scoring ended with a 7 to 6 in favour of -- may it boast- fully be said .... the "Pale Faccs". Though it scomed anybody's game even with the score at 4 to 2 in favour of "But- ler's Youihful Boys", it was nct until the dying seconds of the second period when "eat" Campbell scored for the Pale Faces to make it 4 to 3 that a rejuvenated life of determination creeped into the bones of the oldsters. "Mush" Marsh, (the baby of the squad) tied up the game and then the pres- sure was really on, "Snooper" Dalzell put the "old men" one up a few minutes later but that was nulified by Delaronde, "Clipper" Kulcheski then put the "Pale Faces" in the lead again, but DeLaronde broke loose once more to tie it up again at 6-all, With ex- citement at a frenzied pitch the play see- (cont, on page 6) (those ; COMMUNITY FRIDAY The second in a series of Community Dances, to be staged bi-monthly, will be held in the Recreation Hall tomorrow night (Friday, March 21st). The music for these dances, which are sponsored by the Recreat- ion Comittee, is being supplied by a newly crgenized local orchestra.
