After only three practises under their belt, our local boys found difficulty in settling down in the first game of the double-header and were defeated 24-14. However, in the second encounter our local boys showed the enthusiasm required to win ball games by defeating the Red Rock Nationals 14-13, after being down 13-0 at the end of two innings of . play.
