Peter Shevchuk of Schreiber is currently serv~ ing at Canadian Forces Base, Cold Lake,Alta., which has been named winner of the prized Steinhardt Trophy He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Shevchuk, Schreiber. The trophy is awarded annual to the most proficient unit in the Air Defence Command (ADC), the Canadian component of the North American Air Defence Command (NORAD). The Air Defence Com- mand is the Major component of the 22nd NORAD Region which directs the Air Defence of more than two million square miles of Canada . Mr. and Mrs. George Riley Sr. of Mount Forest are visiting their son George who is a patient in St. Joseph's Hospital Thunder Bay and the rest of the fam- ily in Schreiber .
