JACK FRIESEN HONORED WITH FAREWELL PARTIES Mr. and Mrs. Jack Friesen were given a farewell party in the Legion Hall and Jack McCouan presented them with a gift of money. Dancing was enjoyed and lunch was served. Mr. Friesen, Manager. of the Bank of Montreal, Schreiber, has been transferred to the North Kildonan Branch of the Bank in Winnipeg. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Blanchette hosted a 'dinner party for the bank staff in their honor and Mr. Friesen was presented with a wallet and Mrs. Friesen a gift. Those present were - Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gellert, Miss Anna Figliomeni, Mr. and Mrs. Fred McCole- man, Mr. and Mrs. Jack McCouan, Pat Conley, Betty Morris was unable to attend due to illness. Mr. Pat Conley is fhe new bank manager of the Schreiber Branch of the Bank of Montreal, coming here from Winnipeg. Mrs. Conley and their child- ren, two sons and a daughter will join Mr. Conley FEMALE HELP WANTED - Mature person required for part time employment in Public Library.
