MEETING - GUIDES AND BROWNIES The L.A. to Guides and Brownies oF met in the basement of the Community Church on March 30 with 17 members present. Mrs. S. Caron, Commissioner, opened the meeting with the Guide Prayer and welcomed all the mothers present. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and the treasurer gave her report. Final plans were made for the Mother and Daughter Banquet which is to be } held June 6th. } The Aguasabon Division of the Guides and Brownies is to host a Division meeting Aprilé 22nd to in- } clude Superior Division. Also at this meeting there will be Blue and Brown Training. Holy Angels Roman Catholic Church was the scene of the wedding ceremony uniting Patricia Ann McParland, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold McParland, Schreiber and Mr. Lenard David Godin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Godin, Schreiber. Very Reverend Dean J.M. Cano officated. Organist Miss Brenda Lalonde accompanied Mrs. Jack Gordon. The Bride wore a formal gown of white logazzo crepe, with front insert of lace from neckline to hem and long sleeves trim- fell from her shoulders and an illusion veil was caught by a cluster of chiffon rosettes. She carried a bouquet of red roses and mums. Mrs. W. Spicer was matron of honor and Bridesmaids were Miss Rosemary McParland (Sister of the bride), Miss Doris McParland (cousin of the bride), and Miss Wendy Forrtaine. Flower girls were Colleen and Kathleen McParland, (sister of bride). All wore identical gowns, emboridered lace bodices, long full sleeves, empire waistlines, long skirts of Emerald greén velvet, green velvet hair bands and white shoes. Their bouquets were deep yellow mums. Best man was John Small and groomsmen - Danny Godin (brother of the groom), John MeParland, (brother of the bride) and Bill Scott.
