Correspondence included a letter to the Board of Management, District Home for the Aged, from Council, advising that Council were in favour of ex- panding the existing home of the Aged, in Thunder Bay South, but definitely not in favour of establish- ing additonal homes throughout the district. A letter from the Township Solicitors stated that Municipal Board, in an effort to speed up the appli- cation for extending services on Lakeview Drive. An appeal had been lodged with regard to the large increase in equalized assessment. The annual meeting of the Ontario Municipal Ele- ctrical Association will be held in Toronto, on March 2nd and 3rd. Reeve Cavanaugh will attend with Clerk W. Hanley. Mr. Bob Roberts was appointed to the Recreation Committee, and Mrs. O. Chapman and Mr. W. Council -| agreed to make this donation. The Township of Schreiber advised council that 'Mr. H. McParland was appointed to the Thunder Bay | Health Unit, replacing Mr. H. Coe of Terrace Bay.
