Public Speaking Contest - cont'd from page: Tina: eee ees During intermission, Tony Commisso, of Schreiber, displayed his talents by providing enjoyable selec~ tions on his organ. Judges reached a difficult decision and proclaimed the following winners in each group: - Primary winner: Lita MacDonald, Grade 3, St. Martin's, Top - "My Cat Buttons"; Junior: - Jane Ann Doyle, Grade 6, St. Martin's "On Being A Canadian"; Intermediate: - Lorraine Dobush, Grade 8, St. Martin's "The Generation Gap". Each of the winners received a trophy presented to them by Mr. R. Sinotte and each contestant then received a gift as a momente pation and fine efforts. A presentation of a plaque to be held by the winning school, St. Martin's this year, was pre= sented to Mr. M. Anderson, Principal, by Grand Knight Mr. R. Sinotte. Lunch concluded the evening under the convener- ship of Mrs. M. Dashkewytch. Next year the contest will be held in Schreiber.
