JANUARY 22, 1970 The annual meeting of the United Church congre- gation in Schreiber was held on Sunday January 18th, The congregation gathered for a pot luck supper and the informality of the occasion set the tone for the meeting which followed. The minister, the Rev. E.C. Prinselaar, chaired the business session of the evening. The congrega- tion was given the printed report which had been prepared by the Church Board. Reports from various committees and organizations were received for information, leaving the impres- sion that the church in Schreiber can look back at a successful and interesting year. The attempt which was made to involve the congregation to a much greater degree in the decision making process- es has shown some very obvious results in the number of programs which have been undertaken by various committees of the Board and the very good attendanc¢ which has been consistently high for the monthly meetings of the Board. The quality of participation and the variety of programs tackled indicates the fact that our church is a viable organization within the community.
