Mrs. Martyn Ryan had charge of the Catholic Girls' Club booth assisted by Dale Sisson, Anne Marie McGrath, Diane Singleton and Debbie Cook. The kitchen committee were Mesdames Aurel Major, Bill Mullins, George Walsh, Gerald Banning, Austin Cosgrove and Rene Bedard, assisted by Darlene Guillet, Laura McParland, Cathy Anderson and Carol Ferland. Morgan, supt. of education and Alec Gordon, member of the board, Lake Superior Board of Education, were in Toronto last week to confer with the Ontario Department of Education. Mrs. Sally Wood and Dale have gone to live in Timmins. Bonnie Wood will remain in Schreiber with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Lidkea. Chabot of Marathon will be one of the busiest of the district clergymen on Christmas Day, when he will conduct services in Heron Bay, Marathon and Schreiber, all of which are in his parish.
