Mrs. Charlie Pearson, Christmas Seal Chairman, thanked the workers for their well-organized work in getting the seals into the mail. Mr. Furlonger reported on the eight district patients in the Sanitorium and read a list of suggest- ed Christmas gifts for them, sent by Mrs. D. Welyki. McCuaig. ee BOARD NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BORROWING The public library board met Monday evening with Mrs. R.A. Turner presiding, and Miss Gwen Hadley giving the treasurer's report and reading correspon- dence. It was again decided this board cannot be responsible for the borrowing of films. Librarian Mrs. Andrea Hill, in her monthly report, noted the number of delinquent borrowers and missing books . lt was decided to make one more appeal, by mail, to those keeping books and owing fines and then if there is no response, collect the money by legal means as was done once before. i Mrs. Forbes Macadam was taken to Terrace Bay Hospital. Mrs. John Jarosz is also there. All Rebeka's interested in resuming the Unknown Friend Program are asked to give in their names at the next meeting. EE
