The meeting opened with League Prayers, follow- ed by words of welcome from the President, Mrs. W. Corrigan. Secretary Mrs. L. McBride read the minutes and the correspondence. Mrs. D. Kenney gave the treasurers report, Standing committee convenors gave their reports . The Fort William Dioscesan Regional meeting will be held October Ist, at 8 p.m. E.S.T., in Holy Angels Parish Hall, Schreiber. All ladies are wel- come to attend the business meeting, which will be interesting and informative. A social hour will follow. Those requiring transportation are asked to contact Mrs. G. Dashkewytch,. at 3296. The meeting adjourned with the singing of Holy God We Praise Thy Name, and O Canada. A social hour followed. Business was discussed, and it was decided to hold the regular Poppy Day Tea on Tuesday, November 11th, The regular monthly meetings will resume on Sunday evening, September 28, at the Legion Hall, and it is hoped that everyone will make a special effort to come out. MEMBERS NEEDED! -The regular monthly meeting of the Women of the Moose was held September 17th, with S. Dorman, Sr. Regent in the chair. Discussion period included ways of enticing more members to come out. It is hoped a large attendance will be present at the next meeting to be held October Ist at 8 p.m. with Vi Fedorak - chairman, and co-workers - S. Sadowick, A. Werczynski, B. Dejonghe, M. Hamman and E. LeClair convening.
